It's here the 40th Season of Shanghaied in Astoria, as we celebrate 40 years of this Clatsop County treasured production we also reflect on all the many participants who have contributed over the years to this fun and exciting show.

We also will be joined by many veteran cast members from our past productions.

This year's production will run July 11th thru August 18th, 2024 with 3 Matinee performances and for our non drinking guest we are hosting two special Safe & Sober performances that no alcohol will be served at ( July 19 & August 2).

But we have created a safe and welcoming place for stretching sexual boundaries and awareness, so if this appeals to you, come on down to the Astor Street Opry Company for this special showing, because we’ve got a home for you.

We get questions all the time about whether or not it’s OK to bring kids. If the question is coming from a parent, all we can say is that you are the best judge of whether or not your teen or pre-teen is mature enough to come and enjoy the film with or without you.

If you’re easily offended, then this is probably not the best place for you to spend your entertainment dollars.
