About Astor Street Opry Company
Our History
Since 1984, Astor Street Opry Company has been providing audiences with high-quality entertainment and delicious food. We started as a small local theater group and have now expanded to become one of the most popular community theaters in the region.

Our Mission & Purpose
Our mission is to strengthen our community through cultural enrichment while supporting regional economic growth, serving Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington.
We accomplish this primarily through the production and presentation of our premier production “Shanghaied in Astoria” as well as various other live and recorded productions , thus preserving our community’s cultural heritage.
Purpose
To produce, sponsor and present Performing Arts Programs.
To support regional Performing Artists.
To act as an advocate for the Performing Arts in our region.
To preserve the folklore of our community’s ethnic background.
To give back by supporting students and volunteers through education and
educational scholarships for Performing Arts.
